Walking to End Alzheimer’s

Date:

Georgia-Pacific’s Diboll Lumber employees are hoping to make a difference in the lives of people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. As part of the national Alzheimer’s Association’s annual “Walk to End Alzheimer’s,” Diboll Lumber employees donated $1,066.50 to help provide care and support to those living with the disease and to fund ongoing research.  The money was raised from a silent auction that gave employees an opportunity to bid on various items, including apparel, coolers, and hunting gear.   Among those contributing to the cause and securing the highest bids for items are Georgia-Pacific employees Rafael Pena, Gerardo Alvarez, Cathy Dover, and Gary Williams.
