Texas Forestry Museum’s Canning Lecture

The Texas Forestry Museum will hold an adult lecture on Monday, October 8th at 6 pm. Don Flournoy will talk about his upcoming book about growing up in Shawnee Prairie and Manning, Texas. At the end of the discussion, you will be able to ask Mr. Flournoy any questions that you have about the topic. This event is free to the public. If you would like to attend please RSVP at 936-632-9535 by Friday, October 5th. Photos will be taken at the event for promotional materials.

The Texas Forestry Museum, a private non-profit organization, is located at 1905 Atkinson Dr. in Lufkin. We are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, except major holidays.
