Take a Day to Relax in Hemphill, Texas

Date:

Hemphill is a great place to go out and have fun for the day on State Highway 87 at the junction of State Highway 184. This quiet and quaint town has local shops, restaurants, bakeries, lakes, and hiking trails, so be sure to check them out! One of the most interesting places there is the old county jail, built in 1903 and used until 1980, is now a museum and library.

If you’re in Hemphill and looking to shop, you have to go to S & B’s Boutique Plus. You can find everything from house decor and dishes to jewelry and clothes! They have a wide variety of options to buy from!

Another good place to drop by and shop in is Lonesome Pine Home, a furniture shop, though they also have some incense and a few other items. Everything that they have is absolutely beautiful!

Last, but certainly not least, is the Wildwood Vagabond, an eco friendly Apothecary Shop. Rachael Sanders, the owner, opened this shop recently. She sells all-natural skincare products, hair care products, and aromatherapy products. Not only that, she is a very kind person!

These are only a few of many places to go in Hemphill. There’s lakes to go admire or fishing in, there’s scenic hiking trails, and so much more to enjoy! I encourage everyone to take a day to relax and have fun in Hemphill, located on State Highway 87 at the junction of State Highway 184. You won’t regret it!
