Story Time at the Public Library

Date:

Every Wednesday at 10:00 am, the Judy B. McDonald Public Library offers story time for children and their parents or caregivers. Children listen to stories, sing songs and do a story-themed related activity. Children engage in a wide range of activities from cookie making, scavenger hunts and playing games.

“Story time is an excellent time for young children and their caregivers to come together. It gives the children and adults an opportunity to meet new people and learn about books and using the library. Story time is free and no registration is required. For those families who have not used the library before, library staff is available to assist in getting a free library card and showing parents where to find books. Assistance is available in English and Spanish,” said Mercedes Franks, library director.
