Pregnancy Help Center Hosts Open House At New Facility

Date:

DSC_0063The little hallways and cramped offices and tiny closets and doors to rooms so tiny they couldn’t be shut if someone was in there are a thing of the past for The Pregnancy Help Center.

The non-profit support and education center held a ribbon cutting ceremony at their new facility today located at 401 Gaslight in Lufkin, Texas.

With the new facility, staff members can provide clients with a confidential, safe and now spacious visit to the clinic that provides limited obstetrical ultrasounds, pregnancy testing and education, as well as support to the new or growing family that continues after birth. Today’s open house allowed the community to come by and see the new facility, which boasts larger closets, a child friendly consultation room, more work spaces, and newer equipment.

DSC_0067The resource room is by far one of the most dramatic changes for the facility.

What was an overcrowded room filled with clothes, shoes, diapers, wipes, and baby equipment that parents can purchase with Learn to Earn points is now an organized and wide open room ready for participants to ‘shop.’

The Pregnancy Help Center is open and ready to receive clients Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm. For more information, please visit phclufkin.com or call 936-632-9292.
