Date:

Night work is scheduled in Angelina County for the coming week that will have motorists seeking alternate routes to and from SL 287 and SH 94.

Crews are scheduled to begin mill and inlay work at 8 pm Sunday on the northbound entrance ramp from the SH 94/Frank Street intersection onto SL 287. Work will continue Monday night on the southbound exit ramp from SL 287 to SH 94. On Tuesday night, crews will move to the southbound entrance ramp at SH 94 onto SL 287 and on Wednesday night, the work is scheduled at the northbound exit ramp from SL 287 onto SH 94/Frank Street.

Work is scheduled to begin at 8 pm each night and conclude at 5 am, weather permitting. Intermittent lane closures on SH 94/Frank Street are also expected nightly. Message boards are in place to alert the public to the work. Motorists should obey all traffic control nightly at each entry/exit ramp. Stay alert for moving equipment and workers. Reduce speed and expect to choose alternate routes.
