Calling all dinosaur lovers – gather the kids and get to the Temple Theater on the Angelina College campus Sunday May 17th for DINOLIGHT- a Glow-In-The-Dark Adventure! Get your tickets now or at the Temple Theater box office before each show. DINOLIGHT, created by Lightwire Theater, the innovators of electroluminescent puppetry, literally glows in the dark. “On a pitch black stage you will see glowing neon colored characters move, and dance, and fly about – and as they interact they tell a story!” explained Tracy Pinkerton, Arts Alliance Executive Director. She added “Kids and grown-ups alike love the dazzling tales so much we’ve invited Lightwire back to Lufkin for an unprecedented third time!” Tickets for both the 1:30 pm and the 4:30 pm performances, Sunday May 17 are $8 for kids and $12 for grown-ups. All seating is general admission. Angelina Arts Alliance is proud to present the 2014-2015 Family FUNDAY Series, sponsored by The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy and Jordan Family Dentistry. Season Sponsors are First Bank & Trust East Texas and Georgia-Pacific.

“The life-sized scale of the puppet characters combined with their luminescent quality is quite a spectacle” said Tracy. Lined with electroluminescent wire, these dino-characters illuminate the darkened stage and make their way into audiences’ hearts. The ancient art of full-body puppetry gets a magical, luminous update by this imaginative inspired troupe. Children will love the clear, fast-paced stories, each with a positive message and kid-friendly humor.
