According to a tweet from Jeff Goodman, ESPN college hoops insider, and former media member of FoxSports.com and CBSSports.com, Stephen F. Austin Athletics will supposedly be serving a one-year postseason ban:

The APR, or Academic Progress Rate, is explained by the NCAA to be a value which represents the total of a program’s academic success, and is used as a means to encourage athlete participation in the classroom. According to Goodman, SFA was unable to meet the minimum threshold and will be serving a one-year postseason ban.

This ruling is following a 28-3 season for men’s basketball and the second consecutive offseason which the football program built a top 5 signing class, and the best in the Southland Conference.
