Downton Abbey Tea Party at the Public Library

The Judy B. McDonald Public Library cordially invites one and all to a lighthearted celebration of the final season of a beloved television program.  A Downton Abbey-themed Tea Party will be held on Saturday, January 30th at 3:00 p.m.  “The library circulates DVDs, and the Downton Abbey series has been one of our most popular ones,” says Crystal Hicks, assistant library director.  “We always look for events and themes that reflect the interests of our community whenever we can, and this should be an entertaining event.  We expect some lovely costumes, although there is no dress code at this soiree.”  There will be tea and refreshments, along with a screening of the series premiere episode, themed crafts, and attendees are invited to dress up or in costume.  Please call 559-2970 to reserve your spot by January 29th.
