Georgia-Pacific Gives the Gift of Reading this Christmas

Date:

Georgia-Pacific is giving the gift of reading this holiday season. Partnering with the T.L.L. Temple Library in Diboll, Georgia-Pacific is providing 150 students and library patrons with paperback copies of the book “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” by Charles M. Schulz. Recently Marissa Shaffer’s third-grade class in Diboll visited the library to sing carols and listen to Christmas stories by library director Justin Barkley. In exchange for their gift of music, the young students received copies of the popular Peanuts book, hot chocolate and cookies. Pictured are some of the third-grade carolers and (back row L to R) Justin Barkley, T.L.L. Temple Library Director and Yana Ogletree, Georgia Pacific Public Affairs Manager.
