Family Nurse Practitioner Joins Memorial Clinics

CHI St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Lufkin welcomes Sapphira Clark, FNP to the Angelina County medical staff. Ms. Clark is a Family Nurse Practitioner, and she joins the Memorial Clinics team and the office of Dr. Andrew Fercowicz.

Ms. Clark graduated from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota with her Master’s degree from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program. She is also a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and a graduate of the Angelina College nursing program. Ms. Clark received her Licensed Vocational Nurse Certificate from Tyler County Hospital School of Vocational Nursing in Woodville, Texas.

She has worked in Labor and Delivery, Post-partum, Nursery and NICU settings, as well as an LVN for the Medical Surgical department. During that time she received numerous honors including Registered Nurse of the Year in 2008 and 2015, Employee of the Quarter in 2014, Outstanding Employee of Women’s Services in 2014 and Licensed Vocational Nurse of the Year in 2008.

Ms. Clark is now seeing patients at 202 S. John Redditt Drive. The clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to noon.
