Texas State Forest Festival

Presented by Brookshire Brothers, the Texas State Forest Festival is an East Texas tradition that attracts over 14,000 people to Lufkin/Angelina County with thrilling competitions, yummy festival food, fun carnival rides, exciting shows & so much more! This year, the four-day festival will be held from September 15-18, 2022 at the George H. Henderson, Jr. Exposition Center. Annually, the Texas State Forest Festival requires over 150 volunteers working about 2,500 hours to stage the event, and continues to be one of the premier annual events in Deep East Texas!
Texas State Forest Festival attendees can park in the main parking lot of the George H. Henderson Expo Center, in the back parking lot (attendants will guide you), or on the road just past the Expo Center next to the Ellen Trout Zoo.
