Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Kicks off 2017 with a Roar

The Angelina Arts Alliance is proud to present Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo LIVE! as part of its Family FunDay Series. The event will take place on Sunday, January 15 for two performances at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the Temple Theater on the Angelina College Campus.

Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo is a dinosaur experience like no other, with a chance to get up close and personal with replicas of these extinct creatures. This show delivers fun, excitement and a great learning opportunity! These two – 1 hour-long performances are a must for all DINOSAUR LOVERS, and will deliver an unforgettable family experience.

Plan a little extra time to enjoy the creative activities in the theater lobby designed to bring families together. The fun begins at 12:30 pm. There you can DIG for your own fossils at the DINO DIG site sponsored by the Naranjo Museum of Natural History, have little faces painted, and enjoy refreshments, and more – ALL FREE!

If you are brave enough, ask about VIP seating in the first three rows, which includes a free souvenir for kids and a ‘meet and greet’ photo op with the dinosaurs before the show! General admission tickets are on sale now, priced at $5 for kids and $10 for adults. VIP tickets are $20 – Youth, and $25 – Adults. Tickets can be purchased at the Temple Theater box office.

The Family FunDay Series shows are always on Sunday. Designed as a family activity, they are full of fun, action-packed, family friendly and easy on the wallet. The 2016-2017 Family FunDay Series is sponsored by a generous grant from the Ernest L. Kurth, Jr. Charitable Foundation with additional funds provided by The Estes Family Educational and Charitable Foundation, Woodland Heights Medical Center, The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy, Mary K. and Clifford Grum, Lufkin ER and 90.9 KSWP.
