Drug-Free All Star Scholarship Recipients

Date:

With the help of community sponsors, The Coalition presented scholarships to ten Angelina County Drug-Free All Stars. The Drug-Free All Stars of Angelina County, funded by a grant from TxDOT, are high school seniors in Angelina County who serve as role models in the community throughout the year. Ten outstanding Drug-Free All Stars were selected for their commitment to promoting a drug and alcohol-free lifestyle to their community and their involvement in the program throughout the year. The 2022-2023 Drug-Free All Stars went above and beyond to share their prevention message, including social media posts, press conferences, videos, school presentations, and more. The ten Drug-Free All Stars selected to receive a scholarship were Kaelyn Abbott, graduate of Diboll HS; Abigail Bennett, graduate of Lufkin HS; Hannah Spikes, graduate of Lufkin HS; Alexandra Haney, graduate of Lufkin HS; Grant Ashby graduate of Lufkin HS; Rachel Bonnin, graduate of Lufkin HS; Jordan Hardy, graduate of Hudson HS; Sariah Cruz, graduate of Pineywoods Community Academy; Shadye Forrest, graduate of Pineywoods Community Academy; and Macy True, graduate of Pineywoods Community Academy.
