A seminar covering topics concerning the elderly and disabled will be held at the Lufkin Convention Center on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Presenters from Deep East Texas Council of Government’s Area Agency on Aging, Aging and Disability Resource Center, and Disability Rights Texas will speak on:
- Housing Rights of People with Disabilities
- Alternatives to Guardianship
- Covid-19 and Wellness
- Overview of Disability Rights Texas.
