NACOGDOCHES, TX –

Nacogdoches Public Library will add a special movie to its Movie Night repertoire, the first in a soon-to-be Spanish-language movie series. The event will feature free popcorn, light snacks and a Selena-Look-a-Like and Dance Contest. Selena was the talented, young Tejano singer whose life was cut short. While it has been over 20 years since her death, she remains hugely popular, even among fans who had not been born when she died. The movie event will be held Saturday, June 17th at 6:30 pm. The event is open to all ages, but attendance is limited. Tickets to this free event may be obtained at the check-out desk of the public library. For more information about library programs, please call 936-559-2970.
