Camps for Youngsters Take Place in April
Angelina College’s soccer program will host a pair of youth camps in April with the goal of helping youngsters develop their skills while promoting their love for the game.
The Little Runners and Goalkeeper camps are for boys and girls between the ages of 3-15 years old. Camp 1 will take place on April 4 and 6, while Camp 2 is scheduled for April 25 and 27.
Camps for ages 3-6 will run from 5:45-6:30 p.m. Camps for ages 7-15 will go from 6:45-7:30 p.m.
The cost per player is $40 for each two-day camp.
From AC head coach Nataki Stewart: “This training program is designed with a progression that guides your child’s discovery of the various skills while being challenged and supported as they learn. The camps will finish each session with unrestricted gameplay so the children can become accustomed to the speed of an actual match.”
In order to maximize COVID-19 distancing guidelines, the camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level, and or gender).
