A.A.R.P. Tax Help

A.A.R.P. volunteers will provide free tax preparation at the Judy B. McDonald Public Library every Monday, beginning February 1st through April 11th, from 9:15 am to 12:00 pm. There are no income or age limitations to receive their assistance. Participants are seen on a first-come, first-serve basis.

“We are very thankful to the A.A.R.P. volunteers for generously providing their time and expertise to assist people in our community. Some of our customers just need a little reassurance that they’ve done their taxes properly and some need someone to actually do the taxes for them. Either way, the result is that this helps them complete their paperwork and possibly get a tax refund quicker,” said Mercedes Franks, library director.
