WORK BEGINNING ON SH 103 EAST BRIDGE AT LAKE SAM RAYBURN

Date:

Work is scheduled to begin Nov. 11 at the SH 103 East Bridge over Lake Sam Rayburn to repair erosion at abutments caused by flooding earlier this year.

Stateline Construction, LLC, Quitman TX, will serve as contractor for the $2.1 million project that will include bridge maintenance and erosion repairs at the impacted bridge abutments in Angelina and Nacogdoches counties.

As this work begins, motorists are urged to be cautious in the area of the bridge, stay alert for and obey all traffic control that will be in place and expect delays and possible lane closures as work progresses. Reduce speed and stay alert for workers and moving equipment through the project area.
