Spring is here! This means that winter wardrobes are out and new, spring fashion is in. With all the new trends this season, it can be hard to decide which ones are actually worth trying. Do not fret – because I have put together a guide to help you dress better this spring.
Make a statement with your outfit. It’s all about making a statement this spring.
Graphic Statements – This trend started with graphic tees and eventually evolved into statements after the presidential election in 2016. The best example of this trend is the influx of feminist protest shirts after the Women’s March in January.
Statement Jackets – Statement jackets are taking over street style this season. From jean jackets with embroidered patterns to silky, metallic bomber jackets there are so many ways to make a statement with these jackets.

Chokers – We saw chokers come back onto the scene last spring and they are not going anywhere. So, if you haven’t succumbed to this trend, there is still time. Chokers can go from simple velvet ribbons to edgy chains in gold and silver, whichever look suits you!
Statement Earrings – Shoulder brushers, tassels, hoops, asymmetrical shapes, bright jewel stones, and chunky pieces. Whatever floats your boat this season!
Add some flare to your wardrobe. The 70s is coming back, bigger and better.
Bell Sleeves – Remember bell bottoms? Take them off the bottom and place them on the top. Bell sleeves are cute on cropped blouses and sundresses.
Cropped Flare Jeans – These are a much trendier take on bell bottom jeans. Cropped flare jeans go great with wedges and strappy sandals.
Switch up your kicks. Try some of the newest trends in footwear.
Embellished Sandals – Also known as Tinker Bell Sandals; decorated in fringe, fur, and pom poms. A cute and colorful way to spruce up your spring wardrobe.
Flat Platforms – Platforms are taking on a whole new shape this season. Look for “flat form” wedges in your local shops.
Show off your sporty side. Athleisure takes it up a new level this season.
Hoodies – We all wear them, but now hoodies are considered fashionable.
Thick Stripes – Thick stripes were seen all over the runways for Spring 2017. The style is inspired by retro Olympic tracksuits.
