A.A.R.P. Offers Free Tax Preparation at the Public Library

(Nacogdoches, TX) – Free tax preparation will be offered by AARP Tax-Aide volunteers at the Nacogdoches Public Library on Mondays beginning February 5th through April 9th
.
Sessions will be from 9am to 12pm on a first-come, first-serve basis. AARP can help individuals and families file most tax returns; some restrictions apply. There are no age or income restrictions to receive this service. However, participants must come prepared with photo I.D., social security card for everyone on the tax return, all W-2s, 1099s, other tax receipts, voided check or deposit slip and last year’s tax return. Customers may also use the library’s public computers to prepare their own tax returns. Please call 559-2970 for more information.
