The Governmental Affairs Committee of the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce, the Young Professionals of Angelina County and Lufkin Daily News will host a Candidate Forum beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 22, at the Pitser Garrison Convention Center in Lufkin.
The Forum is open to the public and will provide an opportunity for constituents to hear from candidates in every contested race in Angelina County. Candidates will be given a two minute introduction and will then answer questions from co-moderators Scott Skelton and Hilary Haglund-Walker. Questions will also be selected from a pool submitted by audience members.
