Keep reading to learn more about Rene!

Rene Ewing, 20.

Name:
Rene Ewing

Age: 20

Where are you from:
I was born in California, but I grew up all over the US and Texas.

What do you do?
I’m a barista at Standpipe Coffee House (Shoutout to my squad), and the assistant to the creative department at Timber Creek Church, formerly Lufkin First Assembly.

Hobbies:
Anything having to do with art or DIY, as well as outdoor activities, such as hiking.

Rene Ewing prefers flowers over chocolates.

Three words to describe yourself:
Adventurous, easygoing, and organized.

Do you prefer a night in or a night out on the town?
It honestly depends on the type of mood I’m in. I’m a very go with the flow type of person, so I would be down for either.

Would you kiss a boy on the first date?
I wouldn’t kiss a boy, but I would kiss a man if the moment was right!

Do you believe in love at first sight?
I would have to say that I do not believe in love at first sight, because love is not something that is formed instantly but it’s something that has to grow. That being said, I do believe in some sort of connection at first sight.

What does a successful relationship look like to you?
Where two people are living and loving life together.

What do you love/hate most about the dating process?
I love meeting new people and getting to know them. I hate the possible awkwardness that can follow, or maybe a missed connection ruining a possible friendship.

Do you have any pet peeves?
Not having ambition for anything.

What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday night?
In or out! I’m okay with having a lazy Saturday or going out for a fun night!

What dating advice would you give to your next boyfriend on dating you?
Just be you and let me be me!

What have you learned from previous heartbreaks?
Communication is key. You have to be open and honest with the other person about the way you’re feeling, even if it isn’t easy to hear.

Rene loves a man who can be his true self around her.

What’s your ideal date?
My ideal date is hanging out at a coffee shop and going on some sort of adventure, like hiking or maybe a weekend trip to the beach.

What do you look most for in a relationship?
Fun! If we can’t have fun together and laugh, what’s the point?

What is your biggest deal breaker?
If you can’t be yourself. I love a guy who can let his true personality show.

Do you prefer chocolates or flowers?
Flowers for sure!

Favorite pick-up line?
“I’ve been thinking about it a latte and I can feel something brewing between us.”
