Angelina College Soccer Hosting Tryout in May Program Seeking Future Roadrunners

Date:

In the quest to discover new Roadrunners, the Angelina College men’s soccer program will offer a tryout for prospective players next month.

The tryout takes place from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 at Spring Woods High School in Houston. (The physical address is 2045 Gessner Road, Houston, 77080).

The try-out is open to all high school seniors (class of 2019) and any past high school graduate who A) never played collegiate soccer, or B) played only one year of collegiate soccer. Players are encouraged to extend the invitation to all eligible candidates they may know.

To register, complete the attached registration/waiver form along with the $20 registration fee and submit to the coaches, whose information is listed below. Registering prior to the scheduled tryout date is highly encouraged to guarantee a spot in the tryout.

All those attending are encouraged to bring their own soccer cleats, shin guards, ball and water. Coaches have requested players wear a white or gray t-shirt for scrimmage purposes.

As this is a tryout and not an instructional camp, players will not receive t-shirts.
