LUFKIN, TEXAS, April 17, 2018 – Alpha Beta Gamma, the international business honor society inducted 25 new members April 8 at 2:30 p.m. in the Community Services building, room 104.
New members from Lufkin are Alicia K. Anderson, David Newcomb, Elizabeth A. Bolen, Darryl E. Citizen Sr., Meshia D. Coutee, Csandra C. Crisp, Wendy M. Cuc-Hernandez, James E. Garcia, Donna M. Harris, Kristin I. Ingersoll, Dylan H. Jones, McKaya Lucas, Addison Scott, Marisa A. Sosa, Crystal L. Swearingen, Riley N. Thornton, Shayne F. Vales.
Other new members are Pricilla M. Garcia, and Damaris Perez, both of Nacogdoches; Kyle R. Allen of Cypress, Harrison D. Foulkes of Humble, Riley K. Garrett of Katy, Willoughby M . Gibbs of Corrigan, Brett Mugavero of Magnolia, Crystal D. Segrest of Jasper, Kelly D. Selby of Midway, and Hollie Wilsie of Diboll.
Dr Stacy Pfluger, assistant vice president of Academic Affairs; Chris Sullivan, vice president of Business Affairs; Steve Hudman, dean of Student Affairs; and Keith New, faculty advisor were all on hand to welcome new initiates.
Alpha Beta Gamma® is an International Business Honor Society established in 1970 to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students in business curricula.
To achieve this goal, Alpha Beta Gamma® provides leadership opportunities, forums for the exchange of ideas and the stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence. Since its founding, over 52,000 students from accredited community, junior, and technical colleges have been initiated in the Society.
Alpha Beta Gamma® is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies, and an affiliate member of both the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) and The Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC).
